Terms of Membership

• Membership is by application and is subject to approval by the uBumbano leadership.
• You confirm that the information in your application is true and correct.
• Your membership becomes active only once your application is approved and your first subscription payment is confirmed.
• We may decline an application, and will tell you if we do.

• Membership subscriptions are payable at the rates shown on the Membership page (currently R50 monthly, R150 quarterly or R600 annually).
• Payments are made by EFT to the bank account shown on the payment page, using your membership number as the reference.
• A payment is recognised only once it has been verified against our bank statement and confirmed by an administrator.
• Subscriptions are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
• Inkulungwane is a separate savings club with its own fixed R100 monthly contribution, its own account and its own rules. It is not part of your membership subscription.

• Members agree to abide by the Constitution, rules and lawful decisions of uBumbano Lwaka Chonco Gambushe.
• Members must treat one another with respect and uphold the dignity and heritage of the Chonco Gambushe family.
• Membership may be suspended or ended for serious misconduct, following a fair process.

Your personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Business directory listings and any public display of your details happen only with your consent.

• Event and Summit registrations are confirmed by reference number and may be subject to their own conditions communicated at registration.
• Volunteer sign-ups are an expression of interest and do not guarantee a specific role.

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, and continued membership after an update means you accept the new terms.
